CHILD RESTRAINT SAFETY

Child Restraint Safety Inspection: Child Restraint Safety Inspection: Since March of 2013, the Lewiston Police Department has offered to all residents in the Town and Village of Lewiston a free car seat safety inspection. Officer M. Salada and Officer Eberth with the Lewiston Police Department attended a National Child Passenger Safety Certification Program to be equipped to explain installation procedures to parents and caregivers, and empower them to confidently install and reinstall child restraints as needed. Both officers will be able to assist parents and caregivers by appointment only. The Lewiston Police Department offers car seat safety events throughout the Town of Lewiston at your local Fire Departments. Check back soon for dates.
