STUDENT RESOURCE OFFICER

In 2016 the Lewiston Police Department began a partnership with the Niagara Wheatfield School District to provide full time SRO coverage.  Currently Officer Hall is assigned to the district and is responsible for the safety and security of students and Niagara Wheatfield High School, Edward Town Middle School, Colonial Village Elementary, Errick Road Elementary, West Street Elementary, and the Tuscarora Indian School.  The SRO responsibilities include working with school administrators, and faculty on developing comprehensive safety plans to ensure schools are safe places for students to learn.

In addition to Niagara Wheatfield, the Lewiston Police Department is stationed on the campus of the Lewiston Porter School District and officers are frequently within the buildings interacting with the students.
